Livestreaming with AI - Virtual Being meets Virtual Being

Streaming live with an AI driven Virtual Being for a full hour with tens of thousands of fans watching is the scariest thing we’ve done so far - a million things could’ve gone wrong, but fortunately they didn’t.
Here is how we pulled off one of the most memorable Twitch streams of 2020.

As Fable we set out to change the very definition of entertainment as we know it. We are experiencing rapid advancements in AI technology that not only changes content creation but also content consumption.

Lucy’s journey from her own virtual world in VR, to social media platforms like instagram and then crossing over to live performances on twitch changed how each one of us thinks about AI, chatbots and the relationships we are able to build with our heroes beyond the screen.

Pairing Lucy with Code Miko one of the biggest virtual influencers and infamous for her straightforward nature and improvisational talent, was no easy feat. The team had to navigate many social and technological pitfalls to pull it off. But in the end the differences in technology and character between the two multiplied the excitement for everyone.
